2024-2025 Officers 

Lahari is a senior pursuing a major in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Computer Science, and is currently serving as this year’s President. This is her fourth year as an officer and as a member of AIAA. Lahari is also involved in the aerospace honor society, Sigma Gamma Tau, and is a member of the sorority, Alpha Sigma Kappa. Outside of school, Lahari enjoys reading, visiting coffee shops, and traveling. Upon graduation, Lahari plans to join the engineering industry.  

Annu is a senior pursuing a major in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Astrophysics. She is currently serving as this year's Vice President. It is her fourth year in AIAA and second year on the board. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with friends.

Keira is a junior pursuing a major in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. She is currently serving as this year’s Secretary. This is her second year on board. Outside of class, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and trying coffee shops. 

Mason is a junior pursuing an Aerospace Engineering major along with a minor in Mathematics. He is currently serving as this year's Treasurer and it is his second year as a member of AIAA. Outside of school he enjoys going to concerts, listening to music, and staying active through lifting and intramurals. 

Grace is a senior Aerospace Engineering major and is serving as this year’s Events Coordinator. Grace is also involved in Alpha Phi as the Vice President of Health, Wellness, and Accountability, and is also a member of the U of M’s robotics club on the Lunabotics subteam. Outside of class, she enjoys hanging out with friends and enjoying the outdoors. After graduation, she plans to join the engineering industry. 

Ella is a junior majoring in Aerospace Engineering and minoring in Astrophysics. This year, she is currently serving as outreach coordinator. She is also a member of the university's track and field team, where she spends most of her time. Outside of class, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, reading, going to new coffee shops, and spending time with her friends!

Kalyana is a sophomore pursuing a major in Aerospace Engineering and is currently serving as this year’s Marketing Manager. This is her second year as a member of AIAA. She enjoys being involved on campus and connecting with others through her role. She is excited to continue exploring different areas within aerospace during her time at the university. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career related to aviation. Outside of school, she enjoys watching movies, hanging out with her friends, and traveling. 

Joseph is a 2nd year PhD student in Aerospace Engineering with research interests in hypersonic boundary layer transition and applied machine learning for computational hypersonics, advised by Professor James Scoggins. Joseph was previously involved in the UMN chapter of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE), and Rocket Team. Outside of academics, Joseph enjoys lifting, music production, volleyball, and reading. 

Spenser is a senior pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering. It is his third year as a member of CanSat and his first year as team lead. This past summer, he worked for Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth, MN, as a Manufacturing Engineering intern. Spenser enjoys riding his mountain bike through the woods and flying airplanes in his free time.

Nathan is a senior pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering. This is his third year as a CanSat member, serving as team lead and software lead. He enjoys working with others, testing electronics, and building mechanical systems. Outside of academics, Nathan enjoys lifting, reading, swimming, and traveling. 

Ian is a junior pursuing a major in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in computer science. He is serving as one of this year’s Design Build Fly Co-Leads. This will be his third year involved with AIAA and  DBF.  He also skis for the Minnesota Nordic ski team. Outside of school Ian enjoys traveling, camping, and frisbee golfing. 

Maxwell is a senior pursuing a major in Aerospace Engineering and is serving as one of this year’s Design Build Fly Co-Leads. This is his second year involved with AIAA and DBF. He is also now in charge of PT for the Army ROTC Unit at the UofM. Outside of school, Maxwell enjoys coaching, content creation, and flying. After graduation, he plans to commission as an Army Aviation officer and pursue a career as an Astronaut.
